(2025-10) I will be at 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting.

(2025-07) I gave two talks at ICCOPT’25 and EUROPT’25 on our on-going work: “Data-driven Analysis of First-order Methods via Distributionally Robust Optimization”.


(2024-12) Our paper “Coordinate-update algorithms can efficiently detect infeasible optimization problems” is accepted to the Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications (JMAA).

(2024-09) I joined Princeton University as a postdoctoral researcher at Dept. of Operations Research and Financial Engineering. I will be working with Prof. Bartolomeo Stellato.

(2024-08) I graduated from Seoul National University. I am officially a Ph.D.!

(2024-05) I am honored to be selected as the recipient of 2024 Sejong Science Fellowship (Overseas Track). This fellowship is supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea.

(2024-01) I gave a talk at East Asian Core Doctoral Forum on Mathematics on “Accelerated Infeasibility Detection of Constrained Optimization and Fixed-Point Iterations”.


(2023-09) Our paper “Continuous-time Analysis of Anchor Acceleration” has been accepted to Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS’23) as a poster.

  • Our paper “Accelerated Infeasibility Detection of Constrained Optimization and Fixed-Point Iterations” has been accepted to the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML’23) as a poster.

  • I gave a talk at 2022 KWMS International Conference, which is about my recent work published at ICML’22.
  • I am honored to be selected as a recipient of the Google Travel Grant to attend ICML’22.

(2022-05) Our paper Exact Optimal Accelerated Complexity for Fixed-Point Iterations has been accepted to the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML’22) as a long presentation (top 118/5630=2% of papers).
